• To provide an inclusive setting where community members can engage on a regular basis with students and adults with disabilities promoting a culture of integration and acceptance.

  • Increase opportunities for those with special needs of all ages by teaching specific skill sets (improved social skills, communication, customer service, accuracy in performance of jobs) and in doing so promote confidence and increased independence in their daily lives.

  • In collaboration with local high school and college students (internships, UT, BG, Owens) we feel we can provide successful integration and training for our special needs population for long term employment.  We see it as a win-win as our high school and college students will benefit from the collaboration as well, by lessons of compassion, empathy, and gain friendships in the end.

  • We hope to seek out partnerships with local businesses that would increase employment opportunities in various fields for our special needs students and staff.  Businesses could provide us with specific skills needed to obtain employment; we in turn would incorporate cited skill sets into our training.  Our hope is that our students/staff could eventually become employed in a field that they enjoy.
